Night for the NICU Raises More than $20,000 for Chicagoland NICUs

On July 29, Little Giraffe Foundation hosted the 2nd Annual Night for the NICU. Over 100 supporters joined us to raise over $20,000 for the 21 hospitals our organization supports and had an incredibly fun time while doing so.

The doors opened at 6:30pm at Tree House Chicago. As event guests streamed in they received $100 in chips to play blackjack, roulette, and craps. Gaming stopped only for a few moments as co-founders Amanda and Mike shared their story and the reason everyone was gathered. Patrons were encouraged to pick a hospital and a holiday to support and a large number of folks stepped up to fund the books and toys for those hospitals. As the event closed a large number of guests won prizes from the raffle table such as Chicago Cubs tickets, Chicago Bears tickets, and an evening at the Great Wolf Lodge.
